Are you a local chef or cook who is looking for a great way to promote your talent and/or your business?

Ruby & Quiri is currently seeking chefs/cooks to host in-store cooking demonstrations, right here at R&Q!

Demonstrations will be held every Saturday & Sunday afternoon.

Basic Requirements:

1. Must be available Saturdays and/or Sundays  from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm for demonstrations
2. Should be able to prepare at least three different items, including: an entrée, side dish or appetizer and a desert or something sweet.  There is a lot of flexibility in the menu.
3. Grocery budget is up to $50.00 per demo (prior approval needed if the groceries are more than $50).
4. Chef will be compensated $50 for their time.
5. We have a large working kitchen with all of the supplies you will need for cooking.

Promotion:

1. Your name, restaurant name and menu items will be on our outdoor sign continuously 4 days prior to the event.
2. Your name, restaurant name and menu items will be posted on Facebook and our website.
3. Signage will be provided in the kitchen, as well as copies of the recipes.

Additional Notes:

In addition to preparing the food , we would like the chefs/cooks to mingle on the sales floor with the customers. There are serving trays that can be used for the food & your recipes. You can ask the customers if they would like to try today’s feature &/or have a copy of the recipes. You can also invite customers back to the kitchen area if they would like more.

We are also asking the chefs/cooks to leave the kitchen in the same condition that you found it.  The kitchen is part of our sales floor and should be maintained for the use of our customers and sales staff.  Cleaning supplies will be provided upon notice.
