Delivery Guys

We are always working to be the best we absolutely can be and our delivery teams are really amazing.

In the fourth quarter of 2009, we implemented our new PERFECT Delivery program for all of our delivery teams. This program measures how well we perform in areas essential to our customers having an outstanding experience. The goals of this program are simple:

Goal #1: Damage-free.

No damage inflicted to the customer’s home during delivery, or to the products being delivered. We won’t risk careless damage under any circumstances, and our team is trained, down to every detail.

Goal #2: Professional & courteous.

Our delivery teams are professional and personable. They take pride in their work and do whatever it takes to make sure you have a great experience. All customers receive a follow-up call after each delivery to make sure everything was perfect with your purchase. The responses from these customer surveys have to be great.

Goal #3: Loaded correctly & completely.

Ensures that all the correct products from your order are loaded on the truck, delivered and installed correctly.

So, how are we doing?

When we started the program, our PERFECT Delivery rate was 94.4%. Not bad, but certainly there was room for improvement. At the end of 2009, our PERFECT Delivery rate improved to 99.1%—definitely better, but not good enough for us.

So far in 2010, our PERFECT Delivery rate is 99.5%. That’s just 5 imperfect deliveries out of every 1,000! While impressive, we aren’t finished yet. Our delivery teams continue to improve, working to get our track record as close to 100% as possible.

Our PERFECT Delivery program is just one part of our overall goal of “Exceeding our customers expectations.” This mission statement is at the core of everything we do and is printed on every business card and every receipt—along with the home and cell phone numbers of our owner, Rick Ruby.

We are implementing similar PERFECT programs for our sales and customer service teams. Nobody tries harder to give their customers a better experience. If we ever fail in exceeding your expectations, our owner wants to personally fix it.
